River Revitalization Foundation

WordPress Web Design

River Revitalization Foundation (RRF) preserves green space along Milwaukee’s rivers. To do that work, they host volunteer work events and events, but the organization’s former website lacked the infrastructure to accomplish that.

RRF’s former WordPress website broke following an ill-advised theme change. In seeking options for vendors, RRF staff reached out to Milwaukee Riverkeeper as they liked their website; Riverkeeper recommended Wegner-West Digital.

I worked closely with the organization’s community engagement coordinator to develop the website’s look and feel, develop the user interface and establish a useful navigation to ensure the new website met RRF’s goals.

The new website includes an integration with the organization’s fundraising platform and customized donation forms. Future work includes integrating a new CRM and rebuilding forms.

The site was beta-tested with RRF staff to review content and  identify issues. Once  the website was complete, I provided online training and written documentation to ensure staff could administer the site. I continue to support RRF with as-needed website support

I had no experience with websites but knew our site was in need of a major update. Amanda was so patient and walked through the whole process with me. She was timely and her communication was on point. I really appreciated how well she explained things and taught me and my team how to navigate WordPress and the new website. She even helped our team throughout the decision-making process as far as layout and organization of the website. We ended up with a beautiful site, and we get so many compliments on it! The user-friendliness of our new site has increased our visibility leading to more donations, volunteers, and a general interest in our organization. I would highly recommend Amanda!
